109 Fully Funded PhD Scholarships 2025/2026 – University of Verona
The University of Verona in Italy is now accepting applications for its 2025/2026 PhD Scholarship Program (41st cycle) for international students. A total of 109 fully funded PhD positions are available for candidates holding a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification.
Applicants must submit their application online via the university’s official portal, no later than May 20, 2025, at 12:00 PM (Italian time).
These financial supports cover all tuition fees, provide an annual allowance of €16,243, which is increased by 50% for research periods abroad, and include an additional budget for international mobility and academic activities. Selected PhD students will also benefit from health insurance and may access university accommodation at a preferential rate, subject to availability.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must:

Students who are in the final phase of completing their Master’s may also apply, provided they graduate by September 30, 2025, the official start date of the doctoral program.
