The Baker Hughes Internship Program is tailored for students pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees, as well as recent graduates, providing hands-on professional experience that serves as a cornerstone for their careers. Our internships offer firsthand exposure to processes, systems, and practices aimed at meeting customer needs through flawless execution and innovative technology applications.
Collaborate with Excellence
Throughout your internship, you’ll engage in focused training, team meetings, project work, and result presentations. Supported by a designated buddy and manager, you’ll benefit from a valuable learning journey, receiving coaching and mentoring to excel in assignments and projects while developing technical and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
- Project Execution and Optimization:
- Undertake internal projects aimed at achieving customer objectives and identifying operational enhancements.
- Field Operations Support:
- Collaborate with seasoned engineers in various field operations like drilling, well testing, and equipment maintenance.
- Data Analysis and Troubleshooting:
- Gather field data, analyze trends, and assist in troubleshooting to resolve operational issues efficiently.
- Equipment Inspection and Maintenance:
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain detailed records of field activities, equipment inspections, and safety measures to ensure compliance and future reference.
- Adherence to HS&E Standards:
- Apply Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) protocols consistently to uphold compliance and safety standards.
Requirements
- Educational Background:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, or a related STEM field.
- Academic Excellence:
- Maintained a GPA of 3.0 or higher (out of 4.0) or its equivalent in your educational system.
- Language Proficiency:
- Fluent in oral and written English with strong communication skills.
- Legal Authorization:
- Eligible to work legally in the country of application without requiring company sponsorship or time restrictions.
