ECOBANK CAMEROUN S.A. is seeking a Digital Channels Supervisor who is prepared to make an impact across the national territory.

Role Overview

This leadership role is pivotal in driving the success of Remittances & Mobile Money services, ensuring that our digital products (Mobile Money, Ecobank Mobile, Ecobank Pay, Ecobank Online) dominate the market in line with our 5-year strategic plan. The position involves overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from concept development to process optimization. The role also emphasizes a robust Sales & Distribution strategy, with a target of achieving 60% of sales through digital channels and 40% through physical touchpoints, including agent and merchant networks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Management

  • Ensure optimal product pricing in the local market with a targeted ROI of 15-20%.
  • Collaborate with Group Resources to maintain and enhance Digital Remittances & Mobile Money Products.
  • Maintain excellent communication to support productive relationships, both externally and internally, and to resolve any emerging issues.

Stakeholder Management (DSAs/Distributors/Merchants, Branches, and TELCO Partner Support)

  • Oversee the activities of assigned Sales Agents.
  • Coordinate support for all agents and partners, from acquisition through to ongoing maintenance.
  • Maintain a comprehensive register of potential merchants and TELCO partners.
  • Develop a robust network to share best practices with Sales and Marketing teams, fostering cross-functional collaboration to achieve sales objectives.

Revenue Generation and Growth Analysis

  • Achieve revenue targets and budgets.
  • Recommend and implement corrective actions to address performance gaps.
  • Drive transaction volumes in key remittance markets.

Marketing and Sales Promotions

  • Coordinate all promotional activities, including agreed marketing campaigns, to raise product awareness and boost transaction volumes.
  • Collaborate with agents and partners to support the success of their promotional efforts.
  • Work closely with Ecobank Branches to execute joint promotional activities.

Processes and Procedures

  • Ensure adherence to all established processes and procedures.
  • Review and modify existing processes as necessary to meet business needs.
  • Oversee all product AML audits to ensure full compliance.

REPORTING TO:

  • Head of Digital Channels (Sales & Usage)

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in digital channels is a significant asset.
  • Solid background in Product and Capabilities Management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ideally, three or more years of experience in Remittances, the wireless & mobile industry, or mobile banking.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Proven ability in building and maintaining relationships.
  • Demonstrated innovation and creativity.
