Position Overview

The Senior Relationship Manager plays a key leadership role in supporting clients to raise capital in financial markets and in delivering strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions, and other complex financial transactions, in close collaboration with the Institutional Banking team. This position also serves as a trusted intermediary for clients in trading activities. The core objective is to act as a strategic partner, designing investment strategies and facilitating capital-raising initiatives to meet clients’ objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Grow and manage a diverse portfolio of clients with complex financial needs, ensuring revenue growth while maintaining strong credit quality in line with Citi’s policies and credit standards.
• Identify client requirements and deliver tailored solutions, such as financing, optimization of cash management operations, and foreign currency strategies.
• Promote and cross-sell Citi’s full range of banking solutions, including cash management, trade finance, trade services, structured trade products, foreign exchange, commodities, fixed income instruments, loans (syndicated and bilateral), and capital market offerings.
• Oversee all credit-related aspects of client relationships, including annual reviews, early risk detection, and proactive problem resolution.
• Evaluate and manage risk in all business decisions, ensuring full compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies, safeguarding Citi’s reputation, and upholding the highest ethical and transparency standards.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of relevant experience
• Strong expertise in credit analysis and financial modelling
• Proven track record in risk assessment and valuation

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required
• Master’s degree preferred
