Position: Customer Experience Agent – Direct Transport (DT) & Small BCOs (JL2)

Maersk’s Customer Experience (CX) team in Douala is seeking a motivated Customer Experience Agent to manage his Direct Transport (DT) and Small Beneficial Cargo Owner (BCO) customers. This role plays a key part in overseeing the complete shipment lifecycle, working closely with internal partners to ensure seamless coordination between customer expectations, operational execution, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Customer Experience Management: Take full ownership of the customer journey for DT and Small BCO shipments, ensuring seamless execution from booking through final delivery.
- Issue Resolution: Anticipate and address service disruptions promptly, collaborating with internal teams to implement timely and effective solutions.
- Documentation & Compliance: Guarantee the accuracy and completeness of all shipping documentation in accordance with Maersk standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
- System & Data Integrity: Maintain precise and up-to-date records across Maersk systems to ensure shipment visibility, traceability, and data consistency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Operations, Finance, Sales, and Documentation teams to align service delivery with customer expectations.
- Continuous Improvement: Support the CX leadership team in identifying process inefficiencies and contributing to ongoing service optimization initiatives.
Who We’re Looking For
An individual who possesses:
- A diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- 2–4 years of experience in customer service or logistics operations
- Demonstrated expertise in managing end-to-end shipment lifecycles and customer engagements
- Familiarity with CRM tools and logistics management systems
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- A proactive, customer-centric attitude with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and functions
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities with a structured approach
- Resilience under pressure and a solution-oriented mindset
