AAI Salzburg Scholarship Program for Students from Developing Countries 2024
Applications are now open for the 2024 AAI Salzburg scholarships in Austria for students from developing countries. Its One World 2024 scholarship program is aimed at bright students from Africa, Asia, and Latin America who wish to pursue a Master’s or PhD degree in Austria in a development-related field.

- Monthly stipend: €500 (Master’s) or €550 (PhD)
- Coverage: Total duration of the program + one additional semester

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for this opportunity, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Be a citizen of a country in Africa, Asia, or Latin America.
- Have received a confirmed admission into a Master’s or PhD program at a university or university of applied sciences located in Salzburg or Tyrol (Uni Salzburg, Uni Innsbruck, FH Salzburg, MCI, FH Kufstein).
- Be under 30 years old for Master’s applicants, or under 35 years old for mothers. For PhD, the maximum age is 35 years old, or 40 years old for mothers.
Application Procedure for the AAI Salzburg Scholarship

The required documents are as follows:
- A recent CV (see how to create a Europass CV).
- A motivation letter.
- A passport photo.
- A copy of the passport.
- Residence permit or visa.
- Admission certificate and registration confirmation.
- Bachelor’s degree and its translation (if the original is not in English, French, or Spanish).
- A summary of the Bachelor’s thesis.
- Exams taken and results of current studies.
- A bank statement for the last 3 months.
