• Position: Branch Manager
• Location: Douala, Littoral Region, Cameroon

Shape the Future of Banking Leadership

Access Bank Cameroon is looking for an experienced and visionary Branch Manager to lead one of our strategic branches in Douala. This is a critical leadership role for individuals with a strong background in banking operations, business development, and team management.

Key Responsibilities

As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Leading branch operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction

• Driving business growth by increasing deposit and loan portfolios

• Managing and developing a high-performing team of banking professionals

• Building and nurturing strong customer and community relationships

• Designing and executing local marketing strategies to support product performance

• Overseeing daily branch activities, including risk and cost management to ensure profitability

• Acting as the bank’s ambassador within the local business community

Required Qualifications & Skills

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in the banking sector

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in a social sciences-related field (An MBA or professional certification is a strong advantage)

• Prior experience in a similar leadership role within a financial institution is preferred

• Solid understanding of banking policies, products, and services

• Proven ability in business development, marketing, and relationship management

• Strong leadership skills, effective communication abilities (both written and verbal)

• Must be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
