Job Role Summary

Cameroon oil Transpotation Company (COTCO) is lookin for an Invoice Processor in douala

The Invoice Processor reports to the Account Payables Supervisor with the role of:

• • Ensuring that invoices and other payment requests are processed and paid timely
  • Ensuring tax and other regulatory payments are handled and processed before due date

• Supporting the Account Payables Supervisor on day to day activities.
• Interfacing with vendors and bank institutions
• Maintaining a record of payment issues and follow-up actions
• Maintaining an adequate filing system.

Work location is Douala.

Expected Level of Proficiency

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:

The candidate must have a degree in Accounting or Treasury (BAC +3) with proven work experience of one to three years in accounting work.
Good knowledge of all procedures and regulatory documents related to Tax and Finance Law.
Knowledge of IPES: control reporting, service entry administration and cost tracking.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

• Knowledge of procurement processes, planning/monitoring/stewardship, budgeting and controls required at the level of intermediate to advance.
• Knowledge of spreadsheet/database/presentation/word processing programs with capabilities to correct, review and finalize documents and presentations.
• Analysis, written/oral communication should be advanced
• Ability to network and interface with a range of people in geographic, regional and functional organizations
• Ability to speak and write English and French desirable
• Effective team player
• Result oriented problem solving capacity and practical approach to implementation of corrective actions
