Position Overview
The NGO Striving For All Cameroon (SFA) is seeking a dynamic, full-time Program Manager to lead and implement our community-focused education and healthcare programs in Cameroon. This is an on-site role requiring strategic oversight, strong leadership, and an innovative mindset. The successful candidate will manage local teams, build strong partnerships, and ensure that our initiatives deliver measurable, sustainable impact. We are looking for a motivated individual who shares our passion for social innovation and believes in the transformative power of technology and AI to drive operational excellence in the nonprofit sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of educational and health-related initiatives in Cameroon.
- Supervise, support, and evaluate a local multidisciplinary team.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with governmental bodies, NGOs, private sector actors, and community leaders.
- Establish and track key performance indicators to assess program outcomes.
- Organize training sessions and capacity-building efforts for staff and local beneficiaries.
- Manage program budgets and reporting, ensuring effective use of resources.
- Act as a local representative of SFA, advocating for our mission and fostering visibility through community engagement.
Required Experience & Expertise
- Proven track record in managing complex, community-based programs, particularly in education or public health sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and coordinate projects in resource-constrained environments.
- Experience collaborating across sectors—government, industry, civil society—to drive program success.
- Familiarity with integrating digital tools and AI to optimize nonprofit operations.
- Capacity to design and scale sustainable, impact-driven initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Public Health, Social Work, or a related discipline (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in program or nonprofit management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience working with marginalized or underserved communities.
- Understanding of STEM education and basic healthcare systems.
- Fluent in English; additional language proficiency is an asset.
- High level of adaptability, creativity, and commitment to social impact.

Compensation
