CALL FOR ARTISTIC PROJECTS – CCN

CONTEXT

Cameroonian Cultural Network (CCN): Strengthening Artistic Mobility Across Cameroon

The Cameroonian Cultural Network (CCN) is a platform dedicated to enhancing the mobility of artistic productions throughout Cameroon. To achieve this, it collaborates with cultural operators and supports their capacity-building efforts.

Launched in 2022 by eight Cameroonian and European partners—including the Spanish Embassy in Cameroon, CIPCA, CLAC, the European Union Delegation in Cameroon, the Goethe-Institut, the Institut Français du Cameroun, Kiki Entertainment, and OTHNI Théâtre Laboratory of Yaoundé—the CCN’s mission is to establish a robust national network for artists and cultural operators, facilitate touring opportunities for artistic productions, and implement capacity-building programs for affiliated infrastructures.

Since its inception, the CCN has organized 90 performances as part of tours featuring 20 artistic productions across multiple disciplines, including dance, theatre, visual arts, music, and slam. These high-quality productions, selected by arts and culture professionals, offer alternative perspectives and serve as innovative catalysts for Cameroon’s evolving civil society.

In 2025, the CCN continues its commitment as a sustainable initiative supporting the development of cultural and creative industries in Cameroon. Following a call for artistic project applications, a multidisciplinary jury will select 10 artists or artistic groups, each of whom will benefit from a tour consisting of three to four performances in affiliated cultural venues across 10 Cameroonian cities.
