Call for interest: Public Relation Assistants (Host/Hostesses)
Position: Public Relation Assistants (Host/Hostesses) for PROMOTE 2022
Place of work: Yaoundé
Organisation: British High Commission (BHC) – Yaoundé
Duration: 11 days, (at least 6 hours daily)
Responsibilities
- Greet, welcome and seat guests at various events hosted by the BHC
- Market UK pavilion to visitors at PROMOTE and direct them to visit stands
- Show guests around the UK Pavilion
- Show hospitality to guests at UK Pavilion and events around PROMOTE.
- Strife to exceed their expectation.
- Give orientation and interact with guests to Pavilion and ensure they fill visitors’ register
- Be brand ambassadors for the UK brand throughout PROMOTE both onsite and online.
Qualifications & Competencies
- University degree
- A/L holders encouraged
- Client/visitor focused: strive to satisfy guests and exceed expectations
- Communication proficiency: hospitable, persuasive and clear
- Organisational skills: team player, manage time, space & people
- Stress management/composure: work under pressure, stand for long hours, remain confident/polite,
- Multitask oriented: ready to improvise and fit in/adapt quickly
