The Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education announces to the general public and prospective applicants that the U.S. Government has launched the competition to select participants of both sexes from Cameroon for the 2026-2027 Fullbright Foreign Student Program and the 2026-2027 Fulbright African Research Scholar Program.
The Fullbright Foreign Student Program is a graduate program for a master’s degree from a U.S. University and the Fulbright African Research Scholar Program provides grants for university faculty, government officials, researchers or think tank analysts to conduct post-doctoral research at US institutions.

Applicants for the Fulbright African Research Scholar Program will be expected to have a significant record of scholarly or professional accomplishment. Applicants must reside in Cameroon throughout the nomination and selection process, and they must return to Cameroon upon completion of their U.S. stay.
The deadlines for application are April 21, 2025 for the Fullbright Foreign Student Program and May 26, 2025 for the Fulbright African Research Scholar Program.
