IDIL Scholarships for International Students at the University of Montpellier 2024
The University of Montpellier offers the IDIL program, which awards scholarships to international students for the 2024 academic year who have not attended a higher education institution in France in the past two years. These scholarships are available for ten master’s programs and one engineering program. The IDIL program includes a monthly stipend and travel expense coverage. Applications must be submitted before August 31, 2024.

IDIL Scholarship Amount
IDIL scholarships offer 600 euros per month for four months (from September to December). In addition, they include an internship allowance of 550 euros per month over a period of six months. Transportation costs to Montpellier are also covered, up to a maximum of 600 euros. These scholarships are available for both the first and second years of training. The program also includes language courses and cultural activities.

- Not have studied at a French higher education institution in the past two years.
- Field of study:
- Your previous training must be in one of the following fields:
- Agriculture and agri-food
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Law
- Environment and earth sciences
- Computer science
- Management, administration, finance, and commerce
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Health and social professions
- Engineering sciences
- Economic and political sciences
- Human and social sciences
- Sports
- Your previous training must be in one of the following fields:
- Level of study:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- English language proficiency:
- Have a B2 level in English.

- Master in Sustainable Management and Transition
- Master in Modeling of Biological and Environmental Systems
- Master in Photonic and Electronic Sensors for the Environment and Health
- Master in Plant and Microbial Sciences for the Agro-environment
- Master in Sciences for Human Health
- Engineering degree:
- Engineering degree in Research and Innovation
IDIL Scholarship Application Process
IDIL scholarships are systematically awarded to all international students admitted to an IDIL program, provided that they have not pursued higher education in France in the past two years and have finalized their administrative registration upon their arrival in France. Therefore, there is no specific registration process to obtain this scholarship.
