ENS France International Scholarship – Full Program Details

Each year, the École Normale Supérieure (ENS) in France offers an international scholarship program designed to attract the most talented foreign students in the fields of Sciences, Arts, and Humanities.
This scholarship provides the opportunity to pursue an outstanding Master’s degree at one of France’s most prestigious universities.

Eligibility Criteria – ENS International Scholarship

To be considered for this prestigious scholarship, applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

  • Age: Applicants must be under 26 years old at the time of application (they must not have reached their 26th birthday).
  • First Application: This scholarship is strictly reserved for students applying to the ENS International Selection for the first time. Previous applicants are not eligible.
  • Residence in France: Applicants must not have resided in France for more than 10 months during the current academic year (from September 1 to August 31) or the previous one.
  • Academic Background: Applicants must have completed at least one full year of higher education at a university outside France at the time of application.
    They must also have completed two full years of study abroad before September 1 following admission to the ENS scholarship program.
  • Exceptional Cases: The Director of ENS may, on an exceptional basis, authorize the application of a student with an unusual academic background completed outside France.
