Position Overview
We are seeking talented lawyers to join our teams in Douala, Lagos, and Abidjan.
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Lawyer specializing in Business and Corporate Law. The role involves providing comprehensive legal support to our clients, drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and assisting in contract negotiation and review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Private Law or higher
- Proficient knowledge of OHADA Uniform Acts and local laws and regulations
- Ability to adapt to diverse legal systems
- Proactive with strong initiative and the capability to start and lead projects from inception to completion
- Excellent legal research and writing skills
- Deep understanding of Business, Corporate, and Finance Law
- Proven experience in drafting legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and memos
- Skilled in contract review and negotiation
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Fluency in both English and French, written and spoken
- Bar admission in Cameroon, Nigeria, or Côte d’Ivoire
- Minimum of 2 years of substantial professional experience in a law firm or legal institution
