About Plan International
Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organization dedicated to advancing children’s rights and gender equality. We recognize the inherent potential of every child, but understand that this potential is often hindered by poverty, violence, exclusion, and discrimination, with girls disproportionately affected.
In collaboration with children, youth, supporters, and partners, we work towards a more equitable world by addressing the root causes of the challenges faced by girls and vulnerable children. Our focus extends from birth to adulthood, supporting children’s rights, preparing them for adversity, and driving positive change in local, national, and global policies.
With over 85 years of experience, we have mobilized changemakers in over 80 countries to transform the lives of countless children. Our commitment to equality remains unwavering.
