Good Neighbors Cameroon (GNCMR) is recruiting 1 Volunteer to join its Administrative & Development (AD) Department at the Head Office in Yaoundé, Cameroon.

Position Overview

We are seeking one (01) motivated and passionate Volunteer to join our AD Department at the Head Office in Yaoundé. This role is ideal for individuals eager to contribute to community development efforts while gaining practical experience in a dynamic, mission-driven NGO environment.

The volunteer will support administrative and program-related activities under the supervision of the Program Assistant and contribute to the smooth functioning of the department.

About the Role

On a general note, the Administrative & Development (AD) Volunteer will support the execution of all tasks related to the department’s activities and contribute to the overall mission of Good Neighbors. The volunteer will work closely with the team to ensure effective implementation of administrative and development-related duties.

Required Candidate Profile

Eligibility Criteria

Interested candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Be between 18 and 30 years old;
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or an equivalent field;
  • A background in Community Development or Humanitarian Work is an added advantage;
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Be able to read, write, and speak French or English fluently;
    1. Knowledge of additional languages is an asset;

  • Show a strong interest and motivation for the field;
  • Be punctual, courteous, respectful, and capable of empathetic communication;
  • Be able to work efficiently under pressure;
  • Be fully available, with no professional or personal commitments that may interfere with assigned tasks;
  • Agree to comply with the internal rules and regulations of the organization.

  • A curriculum vitae (maximum two pages), including at least two professional references attesting to good character and work aptitude;
  • A copy of the most recent diploma and relevant work experience certificates;
