About Shwari Health Association Cameroon (SHAC)

Shwari Health Association Cameroon is a nationally registered organization dedicated to delivering high-quality, innovative, and evidence-based solutions to address challenges in the health sector, particularly those affecting children and adolescents. SHAC’s work is rooted in implementation science, and it aims to bridge the ‘know-do’ gap in health service delivery by applying modern research and evidence synthesis to optimize health system interventions.

In partnership with Georgetown University’s Center for Global Health Practice and Impact (CGHPI), and in collaboration with Cameroon’s Regional Technical Groups (RTGs), SHAC is implementing the five-year SAFECARE-Cameroon project. Funded by CDC/PEPFAR, the project seeks to strengthen and sustain facility- and community-based HIV services across PEPFAR-supported regions, with the ultimate goal of achieving epidemic control.
