Olam Agri is currently seeking three (03) Aquaculture Technical Specialists to join his growing Fish Feed business. If you are passionate about aquaculture, technical excellence, and driving sustainable fish farming practices, this opportunity is for you.

About the Role

As an Aquaculture Technical Specialist, you will provide technical and operational support to fish farmers while strengthening aquaculture development projects. You will act as a key liaison between internal teams and local farming communities, contributing directly to improved productivity, fish health, and sustainable growth.

You will report to the National Sales Manager – Grains.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide substantial technical and logistical guidance to field-based development and research activities in aquaculture and integrated fish farming systems.
• Deliver expert advice on aquaculture best practices, including efficient feeding techniques and species-specific care.
• Serve as a liaison between Olam Agri’s Fish Feed team and local fish farmers to ensure effective coordination and communication.
• Identify, activate, and onboard new aquaculture and fish farmers.
• Provide on-the-job training and ongoing technical support to farmers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve farming practices, operational processes, and productivity.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret aquaculture data to drive operational improvements and performance optimization.

Required Skills & Experience

• University degree in Fisheries, Aquaculture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in aquaculture, preferably in a commercial farm environment (technical or operational role).
• Strong understanding of quality feed delivery and fish/shrimp handling and processing standards.
• Excellent knowledge of the local aquaculture sector, including fish health management and biosecurity protocols.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret, and leverage data for operational improvements.
• Proven problem-solving skills related to fish health, water quality, and operational efficiency.
• High attention to detail and proactive monitoring of operational standards.
• Well-established industry network and stakeholder relationships.
