Your Role:

As a Business Analyst & Product Intern, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions. You will support the full product development lifecycle—from requirements gathering to testing and deployment—ensuring that new software features align with our strategic objectives and deliver value to our users. Your contributions will foster collaboration across teams and help drive the successful delivery of innovative digital products.

Business Analyst & Product Intern – Key Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst & Product Intern, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical implementation. Your focus will be on gathering requirements, supporting product development, and ensuring project delivery aligns with business goals.

Main Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze business requirements from internal and external stakeholders.

• Translate user needs into clear, actionable user stories and organize them in the product backlog.

• Collaborate with the development team to ensure a common understanding of requirements and clarify scope and priorities.

• Define acceptance criteria and evaluate completed features to ensure they meet agreed standards.

• Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders and management to ensure transparency.

• Maintain and refine the product roadmap, integrating feature requests and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

• Prioritize backlog items based on business value, dependencies, and risks.

• Conduct continuous feedback sessions with users and stakeholders to refine the product and maximize its value.

• Lead agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Support end-to-end project management, ensuring timely and high-quality product releases.

Qualifications and Experience

Required:

• Fluent in English and French (reading, writing, speaking).

• Background in software development or web technologies.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.

• Knowledge of product management principles, such as feature prioritization and roadmap planning.

• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred:

• Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).

• Previous experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner is a plus.

• Background in project management or software development.

• Knowledge of digital payments and data-driven products is highly valued.
