Missions / Responsabilités / Activités

Your main missions will be:

  • Aggressively drive the sales of bank digital products, services and channels ;
  • Ensure a strategic and coordinated product development, innovation & sales focus that shall enhance and customize the digital products, channels and services ecosystem to meet the need sof both existing and new clients as well as the reporting of activities to relevant stakeholders ;
  • Ensure the product design for Cash Management & Innovation covering Receivables Management, Liquidity Management, Payables Management and Acquiring. Product Management to guarantee profitability and market sharegrowth,managingusingcostingandpricing.EnsurethatbankremainsthefirstDigitalBankinthemarketplace.

In order to fulfil your missions, you will:

  • Work with in country stakeholders, lead country’s Cash Management input to global or regional Request For Proposals (RFPs), referrals and pitches ;
  • Deliver Digital & Cash Management products to our Corporate & Commercial Banking customers int he most efficient and cost-effective ways using appropriate channels, whilst innovating, enhancing and closing product gaps based on the offerings from our competitors ;
  • Develop and continually expand the target market of Digital & Cash Management products ;
  • Perform effective sales and marketing of all Digital & Cash Management products to existing and potential customers, thereby ensuring sales penetration is achieved through effective deal conversion.
  • Understand how clients respond to competitive forces within their own industry andmap their operational flows in terms of receipts and payments to perform problem identification, product/solution customization, seize cash management business opportunities and maximize cross sell of products and client profitability for the bank.
  • Achieve total Cash Management targets (revenues, deposits as well as transactional volumes and values as set by senior management.
  • Develop partnership with RMs and implement strategic portfolio reviews to ensure optimal value addition to clients and returns to the bank.
  • Ensure adequate and proactive calling program of key relationship are maintained.
  • Direct and support the preparation and presentation of Cash Management sales proposal to account prospects across bank target markets.
  • Ensure adequate pricing of Cash Management products on a revenue/expense basis and ensure full collection of fees and and commissions, whilst growing all revenue lines and reducing revenue leakages.
  • Develop products specific internal training materials that shall enhance RMs andotherstakeholder’s knowledge of customer requirement and Cash Management products.
  • Identify and evaluate new opportunities in the market.
  • Support digital growth via product innovations and tailored offering to clients.
  • Know key players in the corporate sectors, local governments & international organizations

Compétences / Exigences / Qualités

  • A Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Banking, Business, IT or any related fields.
  • Knowledge of banking products, operations and digital banking shall be an added advantage.
  • Ability to managing/supervise other Digital & Cash Management staffs across the Ecobank network.
  • Ability to frequently interact with Seniors and Executive staffs at Country/Regional/Group levels.
  • Capable to formulate unique solutions based on knowledge and customer expectations.
  • Strong customer focus and high abilities in sealing deals.
  • Sales pitch and corporate presentation skills are an asset.
  • People-management techniques and skills will be highly valued.
  • Self-motivation capable of delivering results with little or no supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills.
  • Experience in working with and within a complex matrix organization with cross-functional teams.
  • English speaker candidates
