As an Engineering Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the Engineering department by ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of hotel facilities. Your responsibilities will focus on maintaining safety, security, energy efficiency, and regulatory compliance across all technical aspects of the property.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will assist with the daily operations and upkeep of the hotel’s infrastructure. Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting regular maintenance and preventive checks within guest rooms and common areas.
• Responding promptly to maintenance requests and addressing issues efficiently.
• Ensuring the preventative maintenance schedule is properly executed and that all equipment meets operational standards.
• Supporting the hotel’s energy management initiatives and identifying opportunities for cost-saving improvements.
• Maintaining tools, equipment, and workspaces in optimal condition.
• Contributing to the professional development of the Engineering team and ensuring up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and compliance protocols.

Candidate Profile

To be successful in this position, you should demonstrate a proactive approach, a strong sense of responsibility, and a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality service. The ideal candidate will possess:

• A vocational certificate or qualification in a technical discipline (e.g., electrical, mechanical, HVAC, carpentry, or plumbing).
• Solid hands-on experience in general maintenance within large establishments such as hotels, hospitals, ships, or commercial complexes.
• Familiarity with maintenance systems and energy-saving techniques.
• The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• A strong team spirit and a commitment to excellent customer service.
