Job Description
- Responsibilities:
A Masseur holds the responsibility of delivering professional treatments and services to guests, encompassing body and facial treatments, massages, home care advice, and facility tours. Upholding safety, cleanliness, and ensuring guest satisfaction across all Spa services aligning with company standards.
- Key Tasks:
As a Masseur, your duties include:
- Attending Hilton Trainings and monthly departmental meetings as required
- Maintaining high cleanliness standards in the department
- Reporting maintenance issues to the Front Office Manager
- Supporting operational areas upon request by the Front Office Manager
- Keeping abreast of current and upcoming hotel services
- Adhering to departmental operation budget, aiming to maximize revenues and minimize expenses
- Delivering efficient guest service from arrival to check out, managing appointments, and retail upselling
- Handling massage reservations accurately, including changes and cancellations
- Processing billing and posting for spa and retail services accurately, reporting discrepancies to the Front Office Manager
- Clearly explaining spa treatment menu and packages to guests
- Ensuring adherence to brand standards in guest and staff interactions
- Upholding service quality and appearance standards in locker areas, lounges, and restrooms.
Facilities Maintenance:
- Locker Room and Lounge Maintenance:
- Ensuring proper cleanliness in locker room, lounge, steam/sauna room, prep room, and restrooms
- Stocking beverages and setting up/breaking down beverage and fruit stations
- Assisting guests and providing personal training sessions if required
- Fitness Center Management:
- Maintaining fitness equipment and coordinating maintenance and updates with representatives
- Ensuring audio-visual equipment is well-maintained
- Handling cash transactions and providing courteous guest service from arrival to check out
- Guiding guests through the fitness facility and offering personal guest service.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Essential Criteria:
To be considered for the role of Massage Therapist at Hilton Brand hotels and resorts, candidates must possess:
- Proficiency in interpreting safety rules, operating procedures, and maintenance instructions
- Prior experience in the hospitality or customer service industry
- Strong communication skills in English, including reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension
- Ability to deliver effective presentations to groups of customers or employees
- Problem-solving skills in standardized situations
- Minimum of 1 year experience in spa or hospitality
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a massage therapist in a health and beauty center
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French
- Minimum age of 25 years
- Ordinary level degree or equivalent Diploma.
- Desirable Attributes:
Candidates with the following attributes and experiences are preferred:
- Background in resort or wellness-related fields.
