Job Summary
Responsible for ensuring the safe maintenance, repair, or replacement of plant mechanical equipment and systems.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain equipment within assigned sections.
- Minimize downtime for Crusher, Apron Feeder, Stacker, and Reclaimer.
- Contribute to developing equipment work procedures, SOPs, JSAs, and permits.
- Monitor spare parts availability and identify needs promptly, raising PRs and ensuring follow-up until receipt.
- Decrease maintenance costs through proactive measures, efficient spare parts management, and effective time and worker management.
- Monitor the operational condition of all equipment.
- Address daily issues and conduct preventive maintenance tasks.
- Repair equipment spares within assigned section.
- Communicate spare parts requirements promptly to superiors.
- Ensure safety of staff and equipment within assigned area.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within assigned section.
- Undertake any additional tasks delegated by management.
Requirements
Education and Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least five (05) years of applicable work experience in repairing and maintaining cement manufacturing equipment.
Skills and Competencies
- Thorough understanding of cement plant maintenance and the cement manufacturing process.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis.
- Fundamental problem analysis and resolution skills.
- Creativity and innovative thinking.
- Proficient in using MS Office.
