Nestlé Cameroon is Currently seeking an Import/Export Specialist to oversee and ensure exceptional delivery service for Import and Export Operations. This role involves the day-to-day management of Foreign Trade activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Trade Compliance Excellence: Ensure seamless import/export operations by meticulously preparing and submitting accurate documentation within established timelines.
- Performance-Driven Results: Achieve and exceed agreed-upon service level agreements with internal and external stakeholders, optimizing efficiency and minimizing costs.
- End-to-End Execution: Oversee the entire import/export process, from customs clearance and international transportation (road, sea) to effective coordination with both internal teams and external partners.
- Operational Optimization: Continuously review and update General Shipping Instructions to align with evolving market dynamics and maintain operational excellence.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven Expertise: A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in import/export operations, showcasing a deep understanding of international trade regulations and customs procedures.
- Business Acumen: Demonstrated experience in customer service, demand & supply planning, and financial management (budgeting, cost control) within a fast-paced business environment.
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and drive cost savings.
- Collaborative Approach: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
