Company Overview:
Cible RH Emploi, a leading consulting and HR services firm, is seeking a highly skilled Offshore Construction Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role involves overseeing offshore construction projects, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Primary Responsibilities:
Project Management & Supervision:
- Integration in Multidisciplinary Teams: Collaborate effectively within a diverse offshore team.
- Engineering Standards Compliance: Work closely with the facilities engineering team to translate engineering standards into practical construction and installation drawings.
- Project Execution: Lead the offshore installation phase, following detailed engineering design drawings and layout plans.
- Contractor Management: Oversee contractor personnel onsite to ensure project goals are met efficiently.
Safety & Compliance:
- Management of Change: Review field modifications, ensuring adherence to facilities engineering standards.
- Procedural Implementation: Execute procedures outlined in Permit To Work (PTW), Safe Work Plan (SWP), and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
- HSSE Compliance: Conduct supervision under the company’s HSE management system, ensuring safety during offshore installations.
- Risk Management: Identify and address gaps in SWP, JHA, and daily operations, escalating as necessary.
Operational Support:
- Knowledge Transfer: Share expertise with frontline technicians, supervising all their activities.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with Operations and HSSE departments to maintain strict compliance with Company procedures and HSSE management systems.
- Project Documentation: Prepare detailed project updates, documentation, and reports.
Key Challenges:
- Adherence to Company Policy and BOCP (Base Operational Control Procedures).
- Balancing resources from within and external to the department.
- Leading a diverse project team with full and part-time staff.
- Executing projects in a brownfield environment, ensuring maintenance and proper storage of engineering equipment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
- Offshore Construction & Installation: Proven experience in fabrication of mechanical parts, offshore construction, and installation preparation.
- Engineering Expertise: Knowledge of Production, Facilities, Drilling, PUMA, and Well Intervention equipment and materials.
Education & Experience:
- Academic Qualifications: Minimum B.Sc. degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or Electrical/Control Engineering, with a preference for those with construction experience in offshore facilities.
- Professional Experience: At least 5 years in the offshore oil and gas industry, with a focus on project supervision.
