Plan International is seeking a Program Intern.

The Opportunity
As a Program Intern, you will provide essential support and assistance to the program team, with opportunities to collaborate with other departments. This role will allow you to apply the knowledge and skills acquired in your studies to real-world projects. Based in Maroua, you will work closely with your project colleagues, contributing to impactful initiatives.
Under the guidance of the Project Coordinator, the intern will:
- Participate in the execution of project field activities.
- Assist in monitoring project requirements across various support departments (Administration/Finance).
- Engage in project planning activities.
- Attend and contribute to various project meetings and discussions.
- Oversee the reception of project items and aid in the preparation of distribution plans.
- Take part in the project’s distribution activities.
- Contribute to the preparation of various project activity reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual).
- Assist in the setup, filing, and implementation of the P.O. file.
- Be ready to undertake any other tasks related to the project.
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking an individual with a bachelor’s degree in social sciences, education, or a related field, with relevant experience in similar tasks. As a Program Intern, you must possess strong communication and organizational skills, a team-oriented mindset, and the ability to work effectively under pressure and in environments where security is a concern.
