Position Overview

Striving For All (SFA) is currently seeking a dedicated and innovative Program Manager to lead and coordinate our education and healthcare initiatives on the ground in Cameroon. This is an in-person, part-time position based in Douala. The Program Manager will play a key role in overseeing project implementation, managing the local team, and building strategic partnerships. We’re looking for a mission-driven leader who is proactive, tech-savvy, and committed to driving social impact through innovative, community-centered solutions.

The successful candidate will embody our belief that even small organizations can achieve substantial impact through creativity, collaboration, and smart use of technology—including AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of SFA’s educational and healthcare programs across Cameroon.

• Supervise and support local staff, fostering team collaboration and individual performance growth.

• Establish and nurture partnerships with local NGOs, government entities, schools, and community stakeholders to strengthen program delivery and longevity.

• Develop and track KPIs to assess program effectiveness and impact.

• Organize and lead capacity-building workshops and training sessions for staff and community members.

• Manage resources effectively, including budgeting, documentation, and reporting to stakeholders.

• Represent SFA in community forums, stakeholder meetings, and public events as an ambassador of the organization’s mission.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We’re looking for someone with demonstrated experience and passion in the following areas:

• Leading cross-sector teams and implementing projects in education, healthcare, or community development—particularly in under-resourced settings.

• Building collaborations with a wide range of stakeholders, including public institutions and private sector partners.

• Introducing tech-forward or AI-driven solutions to improve program delivery and organizational efficiency.

• Designing scalable, sustainable programs with measurable social impact.

Qualifications

• Proven project and program management skills.

• Strong leadership and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Experience working with marginalized or underserved populations.

• Familiarity with education and healthcare systems, ideally in a nonprofit context.

• Understanding of STEM education and innovation-driven development.

• Commitment to SFA’s mission and values, with the ability to be a strong advocate for our work.

• Creative, solution-oriented mindset with a passion for challenging norms and leveraging technology for good.

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Public Health, Social Work, or a related field.

• An MBA or similar advanced degree and previous nonprofit leadership experience are advantageous.

• Fluency in English at a professional working level is required.
