SKILLS NEEDED
Teaching Skills
- Ability to teach across a range of ages and abilities.
- Experience in developing schemes of work.
- Experience teaching a learning-objectives-based curriculum (Advantageous).
- Openness to teaching various subjects to complete workload.
- Commitment to safeguarding children and young people.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in using IT applications for teaching.
- Experience working as a lab technician.
Communication Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of successful teaching experience in primary/secondary environments.
- Previous experience teaching science, preferably at the high school/middle school level.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Life Sciences or a related field.
- Teaching certification or licensure.
Logistical/Other Requirements
- Must be able to work in Douala, starting January 13, 2025.
- Must be a Cameroonian/Local Candidate.
