UBA Cameroon is recruiting a Marketing Communication Segment Manager (Product & Insights) to support its services.
Job Purpose
Spearhead the analysis of UBA’s consumer behavior, identify market trends, and uncover opportunities to develop and execute product marketing strategies aimed at positioning UBA Cameroon as a leader across all significant industry metrics.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive product marketing strategies for each business segment (Digital, Retail, Remittances, SME, Corporate, Trade, Treasury) to enhance brand visibility and achieve business objectives
- Stay informed about UBA’s annual product roadmap and conduct thorough testing before any product launch
- Create and implement impactful product promotions
- Spearhead communication plans and event schedules for each product
- Identify areas for productivity enhancement through statistical modeling, dashboard development, and ongoing monitoring
- Conduct benchmark and competitive analyses of market products, services, and pricing
- Foster a customer-centric culture and implement effective customer retention programs
- Expand the bank’s customer base in Cameroon and ensure high retention rates
- Ensure each product delivers a positive ROI and take corrective actions as needed
- Monitor advertising expenditures, analyze consumer behavior, and identify market trends and opportunities
- Submit reports and complete assigned tasks promptly
Minimum Education Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (MBA, MSC, MA, ML, and/or professional qualification required)
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant banking experience or 3 years of non-banking but related experience
