Actions Against Hunger is an International Non Governmental Organiztion (NGO), apolitical, non denominated and non-profit. For our operations in Cameroon, we are looking for:
CLEANER m/f
Base: Buea (south west region)
Number of positions : 1
Contract duration: 10 Months
start date: 1st March 2022
supervised by: HR and Finance Technician
Location : Kumba
OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:
Objective 1 : Ensure the cleaning of office:
Activities :
- Dusting of desks, furniture and equipment.
- Cleaning of windows when necesssary
- Empty the garbage bins
- Sweeping and cleaning the floor;
- Clean and disinfect sanitary facilities (including floors and walls)
- Cleaning, disinfecting and filling the water filters
- Checking the water reserves
Objective 2 : Laundry maintenance:
Activities
- Wash, hang-up and iron household linen and clothing
- Tidy and makeup beds of rooms if any
DIPLOMAS/STUDIES/EXPERIENCE :
- Secondary school education
- Desirable, Previous experience in INGO is an asset.
REQUIRED SKILLS :
- Good notion of hygiene
- Good interpersonal skills
- Integrity,careful, quick and discreet.
- Good moral sense
- Organizational skills
- Communication skills
- housekeeping techniques in office and home
- Use of household cleaning products-vigilance in handling chemicals (chlorine, bleach etc

RECRUITEMENT PROCEDURE
