For his Factory in Kribi, CIMPOR is hiring a Quality Manager/Chief, who will directly report to the Factory Director.
JOB PURPOSE
To ensure the manufacturing production lines run smoothly and generate a consistently suitable output of products that meet quality and efficiency standards.
Missions / Responsabilités / Activités
- To monitor and control the suitability of raw materials coming from the quarries to the
- factory and used in the factory, and the receipt of auxiliary materials, additives and fuels into stocks,
- To control the results of the analyzes to measure the quality of raw materials, intermediate products, end products and auxiliary materials during the production stages, in case of intermediate and end products that do not comply with the Product Standards and acceptance criteria; to make the necessary investigations, to investigate the reasons,
- To monitor all process products during the production stages, and to inform the manager if there is a situation outside the standards and targeted quality in this context,
- To control the accuracy of the samples taken and prepared,
- To pay attention to the correct use and maintenance of all devices in the laboratory, to be responsible for the calibration of tools and equipment, to control the stock level of consumables used in the laboratory, to create demand, when necessary,
- Creating material safety data sheets for each chemical material taken into the laboratory and ensuring that they are available at the relevant places, informing the personnel who will use the chemicals against the risks specified in the SDS,
- Participating in R&D and new product development studies, making suggestions on subjects that may fall within this scope, contributing to the implementation of the studies,
- To direct the team in line with the company’s strategy and objectives, to guide and coach the team, and to ensure the implementation of processes, methods and practices that will optimize the development and motivation of the team.
Compétences / Exigences / Qualités
- At least graduated from related Engineering departments of universities,
- Good command of English and French,
- At least 5 years of experience in Cement Factory Quality operations,
- Proficient in MS Office programs,
- No travel restrictions,
- Actively able to drive,
- Have analytical reporting skills and analysis skills,
- Successful in business follow-up and conclusion.
