ECOBANK CAMEROUN S.A. is seeking Relationship Manager, Classic  ready to work across the national territory.

Type of Employment: Permanent Contract

JOB OBJECTIVE

To provide top-tier service and foster client relationships aimed at bolstering product sales and expanding our clientele base.

KEY PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

  1. Deposit Growth: Execute strategies to increase deposits.
  2. Revenue Generation: Drive initiatives to boost revenue.
  3. Product Sales (Cross Selling): Actively promote and sell various products.
  4. New Client Acquisition: Expand our client base.
  5. Digital Product Sales (Mobile App, Ecobank Online): Promote and facilitate sales of digital products.
  6. Loan Portfolio Management: Manage the loan portfolio effectively.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

BUSINESS AND FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE

  1. Proactive Client Relationship Management: Anticipate and address client needs, ensuring satisfaction while meeting performance targets.
  2. Direct Banking Product Sales: Facilitate onboarding of clients and promote sales.
  3. Client Instruction Processing: Ensure timely and accurate processing of client instructions.
  4. Product Knowledge: Attain proficiency in Classic Banking products and services.

CUSTOMER SERVICE EXCELLENCE

  1. Resolve Client Queries: Address day-to-day client inquiries and assist in issue resolution.

LEADERSHIP AND TEAM MANAGEMENT

  1. Portfolio Performance Reporting: Track and provide weekly reports on portfolio performance.
  2. Team Collaboration: Work effectively within the team environment.

PROCESS CONTROL AND OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY

  1. Compliance Adherence: Ensure strict adherence to operational risk and compliance guidelines, including KYC and anti-money laundering measures.
  2. Credit Portfolio Monitoring: Regularly monitor credit portfolio to maintain NPL below 3%.

JOB DESCRIPTION

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Minimum 3 Years Experience: Demonstrated experience in Banking, Marketing, or Sales, preferably within FMCG organizations.
  2. Solid Business Acumen: Proven track record in product knowledge and personnel development.
  3. Operational Proficiency: Comprehensive understanding of operations, technology, and customer service dynamics essential for driving Classic banking business.
  4. Educational Background: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in fields such as Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing, or related disciplines.
  5. Language Proficiency: Fluent in both English and French.

SKILLS & CAPABILITIES

  1. Customer and Market Focus: Oriented towards customer needs and adept at networking.
  2. Strategic Direction Setting: Ability to set clear direction and ensure effective execution.
  3. Results Ownership: Excellent track record of delivering and taking ownership of results.
  4. Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal, influencing, and communication abilities.
