Applications for scholarships at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) are now open. This scholarship includes tuition fee exemption, a monthly stipend, and health insurance coverage. The deadline for submitting applications is September 12, 2024.
KAIST is one of the most prestigious research universities in South Korea. Founded in 1971, it is renowned for its innovative programs in science and engineering. Ranked 53rd globally, KAIST attracts international students from 94 countries, representing approximately 10% of its student body.

Benefits and Duration of the Scholarship
The KAIST scholarship provides full tuition coverage, health insurance, and a monthly stipend. The funding duration varies according to the selected program:
- 24 months for a Master’s degree
- 60 months for the Integrated Master-Doctorate program
- 48 months for a Doctorate
Eligibility Criteria
International applicants (non-Koreans) applying for a Master’s or Doctoral program are eligible for this scholarship. Selection is based on previous academic performance, future potential, and the ability to contribute to the academic community.

To apply:
- Create an account and select your study program.
- Submit your personal information, academic details, and supporting documents.
- Write a statement of purpose and answer additional questions.
- Provide your financial information and check the box to apply for the scholarship.

- Online application period: August 22, 2024, at 10:00 AM to September 12, 2024, at 5:00 PM (Korean time)
- Submission of recommendation letters: Until September 23, 2024, at 6:00 PM
- Application review: October 28, 2024, to November 15, 2024
- Results announcement: December 6, 2024, at 5:00 PM
