  • Improve production efficiency.
  • Monitor the quality of beans delivered by Beans Operations and offer blendings guaranteeing good productivity.
  • Guarantee the quality of the grains produced.
  • Follow up and make reliable the information of data in SAP.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Organize and monitor the delivery of beans and inputs (potash, etc.). Monitor the stock of beans and inputs (potash, etc.) and take stock inventories;
  • Plan the batches of beans to be used and propose the appropriate blending according to the parameters of the beans and the standards of the qualities of the masses to be produced;
  • On a weekly basis, report the characteristics of the beans involved and calculate the yield and monitor its evolution in order to ensure optimum yield (Compliant with the target);
  • Follow the production data entry in SAP and ensure its accuracy. Make corrections, if necessary;
  • Optimize equipment settings and propose new technologies to improve operating costs;
  • Give weekly feedback to the cocoa purchasing department on cocoa needs, indicating the quality and volumes to be consumed over the 52 successive weeks;
  • Follow with a sense of urgency any deviation from the KPIs in the red zone and support the operators so that they can meet the specifications;
  • Comply with safety, quality and food safety instructions;
  • Participate in improving the “Barry Callebaut Excellence” culture on our site by proposing and committing to specific improvement actions. Participate in root cause analysis team meetings;
  • Anticipate conflicts and possible risks by analyzing potential sources of conflict;
  • Control the use of available resources.

About You:

    • BAC+ 3 in a technical field
    • Justify at least 5 years of experience in an agri-food company, particularly in cocoa,
    • Good knowledge of the cocoa process, in particular having a good knowledge of roasting and the process of cleaning the beans
    • Good computer skills (proficiency in SAP, MS Office, Google software, etc.).
    • Ability to report and write reports
    • Be rigorous, organized and methodical in decision-making
    • Have a good troubleshooting methodology
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Good level of English
    • Sense of anticipation
