Bhent Cameroon SA, filiale en cours de création de Bhent, Inc. (États-Unis), deviendra le pôle financier et fintech du groupe au Cameroun. Cette entité portera les activités de services bancaires, de microfinance et de solutions numériques innovantes. Actuellement en procédure d’obtention de l’agrément d’Établissement de Microfinance (EMF) de Catégorie 3, la nomination de sa Directrice Générale constitue une étape clé pour finaliser son enregistrement légal et démarrer ses activités.

Missions

Sous la responsabilité du siège, la Directrice Générale assurera la mise en place et le développement stratégique de Bhent Cameroon SA. Ses principales missions comprendront:

• Lancement et gestion des services de microfinance et des solutions fintech du groupe
• Supervision des filiales Bhent Pay, Bhent Bank et des programmes de cartes prépayées
• Garantie de la conformité réglementaire et obtention des autorisations nécessaires
• Développement de partenariats stratégiques avec les institutions financières, les autorités publiques et les acteurs du secteur
• Management et développement des équipes opérationnelles
• Représentation de l’entreprise auprès des investisseurs, régulateurs et partenaires locaux et internationaux

Profil recherché

Formation et expérience :

• Diplôme Bac+5 en finance, gestion, stratégie, ingénierie ou équivalent
• Expérience professionnelle de 7 à 10 ans dans des fonctions de direction dans les secteurs bancaire, fintech ou microfinance
• Expérience confirmée dans des environnements réglementés en Afrique

Compétences clés :

• Parfaite maîtrise du français et de l’anglais, à l’écrit comme à l’oral
• Excellente connaissance des cadres réglementaires locaux et régionaux (COBAC, BEAC, MINFI)
• Leadership stratégique, capacité à exécuter une vision ambitieuse et esprit entrepreneurial
• Solides compétences en communication, négociation et représentation institutionnelle

Conditions de travail

• Localisation : Douala (poste principal), avec déplacements fréquents à Yaoundé et autres localités
• Contrat : CDI, assorti d’une période d’essai de 6 mois
• Statut : Représentante légale inscrite au RCCM
• Environnement de travail : Dynamique startup, dimension internationale, poste à plein temps

Rémunération et avantages

• Salaire brut mensuel : entre 2 500 000 et 4 500 000 FCFA selon profil et expérience

About Bhent Cameroon SA

Bhent Cameroon SA is a newly established subsidiary being formed by Bhent, Inc., a U.S.-based technology and financial services group. The Cameroonian entity will serve as the group’s financial and fintech hub, offering banking, microfinance, and innovative digital solutions.

Currently in the process of obtaining a Category 3 Microfinance Institution license, the appointment of a CEO is a pivotal step toward completing the legal incorporation and initiating business operations.

Role Overview

The CEO will oversee the setup, growth, and strategic direction of Bhent Cameroon SA. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the rollout and execution of the company’s microfinance and fintech strategy
• Overseeing product development and deployment (Bhent Pay, Bhent Bank, prepaid cards)
• Ensuring full regulatory compliance and securing necessary licenses
• Developing and managing partnerships with financial institutions, regulators, and industry stakeholders
• Recruiting, developing, and managing high-performing teams
• Acting as the primary representative of Bhent Cameroon SA before regulators, investors, and business partners

Candidate Profile

Education & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Strategy, Engineering, or a related field
• 7 to 10 years of senior leadership experience in fintech, banking, or microfinance
• Proven track record of working within regulated financial markets in Africa

Key Skills:

• Full professional fluency in English and French (written and spoken)
• In-depth knowledge of regional financial regulations and frameworks (COBAC, BEAC, MINFI)
• Strategic thinker with strong leadership and execution capabilities
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of innovation and growth
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and institutional representation skills

Employment Terms

• Primary Location: Douala, with frequent travel to Yaoundé and other locations
• Contract Type: Permanent (CDI), subject to a 6-month probation period
• Legal Status: Company’s legal representative (CEO, registered with RCCM)
• Work Environment: International startup culture, full-time position

Compensation & Benefits

• Monthly gross salary: 2,500,000 – 4,500,000 XAF, based on experience
• Performance-based bonuses (quarterly and annual)
