JOB ANNOUNCEMENT: 35 Adult & Pediatric Psychosocial Counselors and 20 Data Collectors for North West Region HIV/AIDS Program
The North West Regional Delegation of Public Health, in partnership with the North West Regional Technical Group for HIV and AIDS Control, is seeking qualified candidates to fill critical roles in our comprehensive HIV/AIDS program. Successful candidates will play a vital role in supporting individuals living with HIV and ensuring accurate data collection for program evaluation and improvement.
Background
This initiative is part of the implementation of the Global Fund’s Cycle 7 Grant (2024-2026) to combat AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria. The recruited personnel will be compensated through the grant’s budget and will be stationed at designated treatment centers throughout the region. Their primary mission is to empower individuals living with HIV to manage their health effectively and navigate the complexities of the therapeutic journey.
Important Notice Regarding Eligibility and Application Process
Ineligible Candidates:
The following individuals are not eligible to apply for these positions:
- Individuals under the age of 18
- Individuals aged 60 or older
- Current government employees (civil servants or contractors with an active registration number or pending integration)
- Individuals who resigned, abandoned duty, or were dismissed by the RTG HIV NW during previous grant cycles (NFM1, NFM2, or NFM3)
Additional Application Guidelines:
- Candidates may only apply for one position. Multiple applications will result in disqualification.
- Incomplete applications will not be considered, regardless of the missing document.
Selection Process:
The selection process will consist of the following stages:
- Application review
- Jury interview (and potential practical test)
Application Submission:
Complete applications, written in either English or French, must be submitted by 3:30 PM local time on June 21st, 2024. Applications should be sealed in unmarked envelopes and delivered in person to the office of the Regional Technical Group for the fight against HIV and AIDS, located on the premises of the Bamenda Regional Hospital. Each application should include one original and four copies.
