IT Entry-Level Developer (Temporary Contract)

Location: Douala, Cameroon

Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated IT Entry-Level Developer to support the development of internal business applications. This role involves building solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, creating insightful data visualizations with Power BI, managing relational databases with SQL, and developing web-based applications using modern programming languages.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in IT

  • Solid understanding of Windows environments, database management (MSSQL), and data visualization tools (Power BI, Power Apps)

  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and C# (knowledge of Python or other languages is a plus)

  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English (written and spoken)

Environment & Business Continuity Officer (Permanent Position)

Location: Douala, Cameroon

Role Overview:

SGS is looking for an experienced Environment & Business Continuity Officer to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and support the implementation and continual improvement of our Business Continuity Management System (BCMS). The role also includes leading risk assessments, scenario planning, and recovery strategy development.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in environmental compliance or sustainability

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related field

  • Certification in ISO standards or other relevant EHS certifications

  • Proven experience in environmental management and change management

  • Excellent command of both French and English

Facility Management & HSE Supervisor (Permanent Position)

Role Overview:

We are recruiting a Facility Management & HSE Supervisor to oversee general services, ensure compliance with HSE standards, manage subcontractors, and maintain preventive maintenance programs. This position also includes supporting certification processes and inventory systems.

Key Qualifications:

  • At least 7 years of experience in facility management, general services coordination, or HSE roles

  • Master’s degree in QHSE or related discipline

  • Relevant ISO or HSE certifications

  • In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards and best practices

  • Strong understanding of inventory and supply chain processes

  • Fluent in French and English
