ECOBANK Cameroon S.A. is recruiting, to meet the needs of its services, a Relationship Manager – Advantage Banking, ready to operate across the national territory.

I. ROLE OVERVIEW
The Relationship Manager – Advantage Banking is responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of affluent clients, delivering exceptional service, and driving growth in deposits, revenue, and product uptake. The role supports Ecobank’s strategy by focusing on customer retention, satisfaction, and acquisition, while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development & Financial Performance

Build and nurture strong client relationships by proactively understanding their needs and delivering tailored financial solutions.

Ensure timely and accurate execution of client instructions, working closely with relevant internal teams.

Achieve and exceed agreed performance targets including deposit growth, profitability, product sales, and client acquisition.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Advantage Banking products and services.

Provide timely and accurate reporting on assigned portfolios.
Client Service Excellence
-
Address and resolve day-to-day client issues promptly, leveraging internal resources as needed to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
Leadership & Team Collaboration
-
Monitor portfolio performance and deliver weekly reports at the RM level.

Actively contribute to team goals and collaborate closely with the Customer Service Unit (CSU) to enhance service delivery and drive product penetration.
Operational Risk & Compliance
-
Adhere strictly to all regulatory and internal compliance requirements, including KYC and anti-money laundering policies.

Monitor the credit portfolio regularly and initiate timely recovery actions to maintain Non-Performing Loans (NPL) below 3%.

Submit regular management updates on key performance indicators, including sales tracker and DIP reporting.
Strategic Growth Initiatives

Lead initiatives aimed at growing the Advantage Banking segment.

Promote and support the migration of clients to Ecobank’s digital platforms.

Deliver against strategic business challenges and growth objectives within the Advantage Banking portfolio.

Reports to: Head of Advantage Banking
IV. PROFILE REQUIREMENTS
Experience & Education
-
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in retail or consumer banking.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
