The SINGA Scholarship Program is aimed at international students with an excellent academic background, allowing them to pursue a PhD or studies in engineering in Singapore. This scholarship is offered in partnership with renowned universities such as Nanyang Technological University (NTU), National University of Singapore (NUS), and the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), among others.

Scholarship Amount and Benefits

  • NTU (15th in the world) – PhD
  • SUTD (440th in the world) – PhD and Engineering (EngD)
  • SMU (585th in the world) – PhD and Engineering (EngD)
  • SIT (unranked) – Engineering (EngD)

These programs emphasize research in various fields, including biology, engineering sciences, computer science, and more.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the SINGA scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be an international student with outstanding academic results in undergraduate and/or graduate studies.
  • Have a strong interest in scientific research and a desire to pursue a PhD in science or engineering.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
