UN Women merges and builds upon the work of four previously distinct parts of the UN system—DAW, OSAGI, INSTRAW, and UNIFEM—all of which focused on advancing gender equality and the empowerment of women. Through this integration, UN Women aims to achieve more effective and impactful outcomes in promoting gender equality globally.

At UN Women, we are dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace built on mutual respect. We believe that diversity strengthens our ability to achieve our mission of gender equality and women’s empowerment. UN Women actively recruits, employs, trains, compensates, and promotes individuals regardless of race, religion, color, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, ability, national origin, or any other factor protected by relevant laws. All decisions related to employment are made based on qualifications, competence, integrity, and the needs of the organization.
If you require any reasonable accommodations to participate in the recruitment and selection process, please make sure to include this information in your application.
