Position Overview: Technology Auditor
In a rapidly evolving telecommunications landscape, MTN Cameroon is positioning itself as a technology leader, continuously adapting to changing operational and commercial demands. As a Technology Auditor, you will be integral to ensuring that our systems and processes comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements, while safeguarding our reputation as a transparent and reliable tech provider.
Key Responsibilities
As a Technology Auditor, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Executing technology audit plans to assess risks, vulnerabilities, and compliance across various systems.
- Serving as a core member of the audit team, directly participating in high-priority audits of technology, systems, and security controls.
- Conducting effectiveness tests on areas like information security, disaster recovery, and project governance.
- Regularly testing technology systems and security controls to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory policies.
- Providing high-quality recommendations on risk mitigation, corporate governance, and audit processes.
- Contributing to audit plans to enhance risk management through robust internal audits.
- Following up on audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation.
- Assessing information security and cybersecurity controls to identify vulnerabilities and improve compliance.
- Utilizing data analytics tools and AI techniques to automate tasks and identify high-risk transactions, enhancing the audit process.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.Eng.), Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of internal audit experience, particularly in technology audits.
- Certifications: Preferred certifications include CISA, CRISC, CISM, CIA, CISSP, CPA, or CMA.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages like SQL, Python, and visualization tools like Power BI is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of technology systems are essential. Experience in project management and being customer-focused is highly valued.
