CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT PROGRAMME (CPA)
The Department of Accounting of the University of Buea has created rewarding career opportunities to fast-track graduates to an accounting career. In partnership with the Kenyan Accountants and Secretaries National Examination Board (KASNEB) and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya, the Department of Accounting has designed this unique professional programme to produce skilled and competent professional Accountants, Auditors, Finance Managers, Tax Consultants in the public and private sectors.
The Certified Public Accountant (CPA) programme shall be taught by leading professionals. Graduates will be registered as Chartered Accountants in CEMAC and ONECCA upon fulfillment of the professional experience and other requirements.
Admission requirements
- G.C.E Advanced Level Certificate (or equivalent) with at least two papers (including English and Mathematics) at the Ordinary Level.
- KASNEB Technician, Diploma or professional examination certificate;
- A degree from a recognized University;
- Any other certificate recognized by KASNEB.
Registration is opened at the online platform (www.ubuca.cm). Manual registration and further information can be obtained at Room 010 of the Faculty of Social and Management Science building.
