Company Overview: Mustard Seed Investment Credit (MUSIC) is a grassroots Micro-Finance Institution founded on June 12, 2014, with a broad vision to provide innovative financial services to both members and the general public. Through the use of financial technology, we aim to revolutionize the banking experience, expanding financial inclusion and facilitating digital payments throughout Africa. In addition to traditional products such as savings and current accounts, MUSIC has launched a service called FLEXY BANK, which offers users 24/7 access to their accounts, both within and outside of Cameroon.
Position: We are looking for motivated candidates to join our team at the Grand Hangar branch in Douala for the following position:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, implement effective marketing strategies, and track the success of new and existing financial products.
- Conduct customer acquisition through prospecting, onboarding clients, brokers, and merchants, and offer tailored products and services.
- Expand the range of products used by each customer to maximize MUSIC’s share of their financial portfolio.
- Provide operational support on a daily basis.
- Promote cross-selling of products to existing customers.
- Continuously engage with clients to introduce them to new products and services offered by MUSIC.
- Identify growth opportunities for the institution.
- Prepare and submit activity reports to management as requested.
- Collaborate with team members to source new business opportunities.
- Participate in customer forums for feedback and training on MUSIC products and services.
- Maintain up-to-date customer records.
- Address customer service issues by identifying problems, offering solutions, and following up to ensure satisfaction.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field from a reputable institution.
- At least three years of experience in bank management, preferably as a Branch Manager or in a similar role.
- A strong understanding of modern management techniques and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong analytical abilities.
- Demonstrated history of strong performance.
- Ability to meet sales and production targets.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- High standards of personal and professional integrity.
- A self-motivated, engaging, positive, and results-driven individual capable of earning respect.
Role Objectives:
- Act as the primary contact for client concerns and needs.
- Foster and strengthen client relationships to build long-term partnerships.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including contracts and renewals.
- Collaborate with sales and internal teams to create strategic marketing plans and ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are achieved.
