Job Summary
Cible Rh is currently seeking a skilled and responsible Driver to provide secure and punctual transportation services for our company staff members and/or goods.
Primary Responsibilities
- Vehicle Maintenance
- Ensure the vehicle is clean both inside and outside.
- Regularly inspect and maintain safety belts, ensuring they are clean and in good working condition.
- Refuel the vehicle when the tank is half-empty.
- Perform visual inspections of the vehicle using a checklist.
- Check the air pressure in the tires, including the spare tire.
- Perform minor repairs on windshield wipers, headlights, brake and signal lights, and interior lights to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Maintain a logbook in the assigned vehicle, recording the date, odometer reading, and providing detailed descriptions of all repairs and services.
- Fuel Management
- Keep a fuel logbook (Fuel Card) that includes information such as fuel quantity, vehicle number, and any required oil or servicing.
- Accident Reporting
- In the event of an accident, promptly report the incident and assist the Road Transport Coordinator by providing necessary information to complete the accident report.
- Key Management
- Collect the vehicle keys and record the details in the logbook.
- Return the keys to the Supervisor or Radio room at the end of each day, signing off in the Logbook.
HSSE Accountabilities
- Participation in HSSE Intervention Schemes and Awareness Sessions
- Actively participate in all HSSE intervention schemes such as APIPP, incident reporting, and site visits.
- Attend HSSE meetings, events, and trainings to maintain and enhance Company HSSE culture and performance.
- Engage in toolbox and Drivers Safety Meetings.
- Understanding and Leading HSSE Engagement
- Familiarize yourself with emergency procedures related to car accidents and comply with the associated requirements.
- Serve as a role model to promote HSSE engagement within your direct team, section, and department.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using emergency equipment allocated to vehicles, including first aid kits, fire extinguishers, hazard triangles, etc.
Key Challenges
- Familiarity with Locations and Safety Rules
- Acquire knowledge of the cities and major locations where the Company operates, including partner offices, banks, workshops, government offices, restaurants, department stores, etc.
- Adhere to the safety rules and regulations specific to transportation in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Ensure safe driving practices while operating Company vehicles.
- Possess knowledge and skills for post-accident remedial actions.
Competence & Requirements
- Show passion and commitment to safe driving practices.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of driving experience, with at least 2 years in a corporate setting.
- Completion of defensive driving training is advantageous.
- Familiarity with minor vehicle repairs.
- Possession of first aid and CPR training.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
