Chevening Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
To apply, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Citizenship: Be a citizen of one of the eligible countries or territories (see the list of eligible countries here).
- Commitment: Commit to returning to their country of citizenship for a minimum of two years after the scholarship ends.
- Academic Qualifications: Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Work Experience: Have a minimum of two years of work experience.
- University Applications: Apply to three different Master’s programs and receive an unconditional offer by July 11, 2024.
Eligible work experience includes full-time employment, part-time jobs, volunteering, and paid or unpaid internships. The Chevening program is inclusive and does not discriminate based on gender, age, sexual orientation, or any other personal characteristic.

How to Apply for a Chevening Scholarship
All Chevening applications must be submitted through the online application system. This system will be used for all stages of the application and selection process. It is important to note that the scholarship application is separate from your application to the chosen Master’s programs. You must also apply directly to the university offering the program that interests you.

Please note that the deadline to receive an unconditional offer for one of your chosen programs is July 11, 2025. After this date, you will no longer be eligible for a Chevening Scholarship, even if you receive an offer from a university.
