About Plan International
Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organization dedicated to advancing children’s rights and gender equality. We believe in the power of every child, but recognize that poverty, violence, exclusion, and discrimination often hinder their potential, disproportionately affecting girls.
We collaborate with children, youth, supporters, and partners to create a just world, addressing the root causes of the challenges faced by girls and vulnerable children. Our work spans from birth to adulthood, supporting children’s rights and empowering them to navigate crises and adversity. We leverage our global reach, experience, and knowledge to drive meaningful change at all levels.
For over 85 years, we have united with those who share our vision to transform the lives of children in more than 80 countries.
We will not rest until equality is achieved for all.
