Europe Afrique Services (EAS), a company specializing in human resources management, is hiring on behalf of one of its clients — a leading importer and distributor of wines and food products. We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager for a permanent position.
Position Overview
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing and driving performance within the regional sales team. This includes ensuring the successful implementation of strategic sales initiatives, achieving defined business objectives, and maintaining high standards of customer engagement. The role requires frequent travel and a dynamic, fast-paced working schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution

Lead the implementation of the sales strategy as set by senior management.

Monitor the execution of regional action plans and ensure sales targets — both qualitative and quantitative — are met.

Coordinate and manage sales routes and scheduling for optimal coverage.
Performance Management
-
Translate company-wide objectives into actionable goals for individual sales representatives.

Develop sector-specific action plans in collaboration with team members.
-
Regularly track performance indicators and report progress on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Organize and lead regular team meetings to assess progress and align on next steps.
Training & Development
-
Deliver on-the-ground training aligned with company standards.
-
Coach teams on negotiation techniques and customer relationship management.

Provide strategic support during key client negotiations and conflict resolution.
Operational Oversight
-
Supervise and evaluate field activity, including visit logs, client interaction quality, and in-store execution.

Review and validate sales reports and ensure timely processing of all relevant documentation.
Team Motivation & Engagement
-
Track progress against incentive programs and ensure compliance with bonus structures.

Continuously motivate and challenge the team to exceed performance expectations.
Key Account Management & Retail Operations

Manage daily relationships with key retail and GMS accounts.

Support the implementation and follow-up of commercial agreements.

Guide field teams in meeting volume targets and securing market presence.
Client Credit Monitoring
-
Collaborate with finance and senior management to monitor client credit levels.

Ensure timely follow-up and collection of outstanding balances.
Reporting & Strategic Input
-
Provide comprehensive activity reports on a regular basis.
-
Offer insights and recommendations to support business growth initiatives.
Brand Representation
-
Act as a brand ambassador at all times.

Uphold the company’s values and image in all professional interactions.
Candidate Profile
-
Experience: At least 5 years in a similar role.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

Driver’s License: Category B (mandatory).

Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the company’s product portfolio, customer base, and market landscape.

Languages
