Key Responsibilities
As the Sales Business Intelligence Manager, you will play a critical role in driving operational success. Your responsibilities will include:
Operational Management
- Lead and manage the Business Intelligence (BI) and channel teams under your supervision.
- Develop BI content such as reports, dashboards, and scorecards to provide actionable data for business decision-making and performance tracking.
- Ensure that dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) are consistently updated for regional teams and partners to monitor performance.
- Oversee key functions, including forecasting, reporting, analytics, sales support, and sales IT enablement.
- Analyze and evaluate data to improve sales productivity and channel performance, providing recommendations to optimize incentive structures.
- Oversee go-to-market (GTM) readiness for sales initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional departments.
- Continuously assess regional performance and identify areas for growth and improvement.
Strategic Insights
- Drive business metrics through comprehensive dashboards that provide a 360-degree view of performance.
- Guide the sales operational business plan and escalate deviations as needed.
- Support the analysis of Return on Investment (ROI) for potential business initiatives.
- Conduct periodic audits on sales and distribution data to ensure financial alignment.
Performance Management
- Define and execute performance management frameworks for both internal and external sales efforts.
- Implement tools and metrics to measure the success of sales and distribution activities.
- Lead the development of BI solutions that emphasize speed to market results and meet evolving business needs.
- Collaborate with business units to ensure their processes align with the use of enterprise data for analytical and reporting purposes.
- Manage and monitor the Sales and Distribution budget and related costs.
Qualifications and Requirements for the Role
Educational Background:
- A minimum of 4 years of tertiary education in Quantitative Analysis, Business Administration, Information Systems Management, Sales Management, or Marketing.
- A Bachelor’s degree in IT or a relevant field is required. A Master’s degree in IT or equivalent professional qualification is highly desirable and will be considered an advantage.
- Fluency in the local language is required, with at least a basic proficiency in English.
Professional Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence (BI) or Data Analytics, including leadership or supervisory roles.
- Experience in Sales & Distribution within FMCG or Fintech sectors is preferred.
- Proven experience in customer insights and point of sales analysis or other senior roles related to data analytics.
- In-depth knowledge of Big Data platforms and open-source solutions for database management, data analysis, and data handling.
- Extensive experience using data reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools like SQL, Python, SAS, or similar.
- Experience working in medium to large organizations.
Industry Certifications (Preferred):
- Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Associate
- Google Certified Data Analyst
- Azure Certified Data Engineer or Azure Certified Data Fundamentals
Core Competencies:
- Expertise in Customer Persona and Journey Design.
- Strong understanding of Customer Experience Management (CXM) and CX technologies.
- Experience in CX design and implementation.
- Knowledge of Channel Analytics and Optimization.
- Proficiency in Bot Training, Prompt Engineering, and AI-Based Chatbots Management.
- Strong foundation in Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
