Governance Overview
Operational, Tactical, and Strategic Meetings
- Contribute insights during strategic meetings as required.
- Assist in preparing proposals related to change initiatives, policies, and procedures.
- Develop and maintain performance metric dashboards to track and improve key performance metrics effectively.
Escalations Management
- Proactively manage and resolve escalations that could disrupt critical service delivery timelines.

Content Strategy and Brand Alignment
- Integrate content strategy with the brand’s overarching messaging and business goals, ensuring alignment across all marketing initiatives for a unified presence.
- Develop engaging, audience-specific content tailored to address the unique interests, needs, and challenges of target segments.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to refine a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with MTN Cameroon’s objectives, fostering brand consistency while effectively engaging diverse audiences.
Campaign Development and Execution
- Play a pivotal role in campaign development and media planning, ensuring cohesive advertising strategies across digital and social media platforms for maximum reach and engagement.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of campaigns, from inception to go-to-market, ensuring smooth planning, execution, and optimization across all platforms.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and agencies, ensuring the delivery of relevant and impactful campaigns.
Audience Insights and Personalization
- Create detailed audience personas to deeply understand their needs, preferences, and behaviors, tailoring content strategies to resonate effectively with each segment.
- Partner with data teams to define B2B customer segments, enabling enhanced targeted marketing efforts.
- Design and implement personalized content experiences using advanced personalization frameworks, driving customer engagement and improving market effectiveness.
- Conduct A/B testing to refine and improve the performance of personalized content strategies.
Content Creation and Optimization
- Proofread and edit content rigorously to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with brand guidelines before publishing.
- Offer guidance to Digital, Social Media, and Marketing teams, helping optimize content strategies across websites, emails, and social platforms.
- Utilize AI-driven insights to analyze customer behavior and refine content strategies for better engagement and campaign effectiveness.
Performance Tracking and Analytics
- Manage content calendars, ensuring consistency across platforms to maintain a cohesive brand presence.
- Track consumer and content analytics, compile detailed reports, and share actionable insights with senior stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends, innovations, and technological advancements to ensure content remains cutting-edge and competitive.
Education Requirements
- A 3-year degree/diploma in Literature, Journalism, Marketing, Communication, or Management is essential.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in content creation, marketing, or communications.
- At least 2 years of experience in:
- Developing and executing communication strategies.
- Copywriting and advertising development.
- Managing relationships with suppliers like printers, production houses, and media agencies.
- In-depth knowledge of various content platforms, including social media, blogs, and print media.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
- Hands-on experience with content and layout design tools, like Adobe InCopy.
- Comprehensive understanding of the web content production lifecycle, from scoping and production to testing and refinement.
- Experience or knowledge of the telecom industry, particularly in CSM, fixed-line services, and Internet/Data business.
- Preferred experience in point-of-sale communication.
- Strong expertise in content practices like SEO, Social Media Optimization (SMO), and Pay-per-click (PPC) advertising.
- Proven ability in online advertising.
